About Lil’ Buddies Pet Sitters

As a pet owner, we understand how difficult it can be to secure pet care when you are away from home. It can be particularly challenging if your pet has special needs.  In the Matthews/Mint Hill/Southeast Charlotte, NC area there are very few pet care providers who possess the expertise to address these special needs. In addition to caring for healthy pets, Lil’ Buddies Pet Sitters are qualified to administer to these special needs.

Our Family Experience

Our cat “Momma Kitty” showed up at our door eight years ago with a crumpled ear and two kittens in tow. We were able to find the kittens a home, but Momma decided she would adopt our family. She has a wonderful personality, but also has insulin-dependent diabetes. Fortunately, with my background as a veterinary technician, I was able to navigate the difficult road to getting Momma’s diabetes regulated. Her veterinarian comments frequently that she does not have the appearance of a diabetic cat, with her sleek coat and near normal weight. I attribute this to an extreme regimen of feeding and medication. Our schedule revolves around her needs.

Our Pet Sitting Philosophy

Lil’ Buddies Pet Sitters is a small pet sitting service. We are not a “mega” operation with 40 plus pet sitters. As a former veterinary technician, I set the bar high regarding care of those animals entrusted to us. New sitters undergo a background check and must pass the muster in terms of reliability, honesty, competency, and of course a true love for animals. Our goal is to provide you with peace of mind, knowing that your pet is in competent, loving hands.

Our Training & Qualifications

Holly  worked for six years as a Veterinary Technician.  This special training and experience gives her a unique advantage when caring for your pet.  She has the medical skills necessary to administer most medical treatments, as directed by your pet’s veterinarian.  Her extensive experience with many different breeds makes her uniquely qualified to care for a wide variety of animals.
